Many thanks to Miss Julie Issenmann, our PE teacher, for our special Olympic Field Day 2010! In the week leading up to the field day physical competition, classes were each assigned a country to represent. Pre-Olympic events included:
- Door decoration- decorate your door in a way that represents your country.
- Students speaking your language- hi, by, bathroom –little things
- Making a banner that will hang in the gym for a week.
- Taking a virtual field trip
- Making a country flag that you can carry around with you during field day
- T-shirts representing their country to wear on Friday
- Opening and closing ceremonies
On Friday, May 7th, events included the downhill ski water slide, scooter luge, torch relay, tug-o-war (always an annual favorite) and more!
